August Bluetooth
IntegratesAugustlocks over Bluetooth into Home Assistant.
Following Assa Abloy, Yale’s parent company, purchasing August in 2017, most newer devices use the Yale Access branding.
Support for devices by August Bluetooth in Home Assistant is provided by theYale Access Bluetoothintegration.
August Bluetooth devices are either rebranded devices or devices that share a common communication protocol, making it possible to use them with theYale Access Bluetoothintegration.
Configuration
Adding August Bluetooth to your Home Assistant instance can be done via the user interface, by using this My button:
If the above My button doesn’t work, you can also perform the following steps manually:
Browse to your Home Assistant instance.
In the sidebar click onSettings.
From the configuration menu select:Devices & Services.
In the bottom right, click on theAdd Integrationbutton.
From the list, search and select“August Bluetooth”.
Follow the instruction on screen to complete the set up.
